Sundried Tomato Cheese Straws

Ingredients

  • 1 400 g roll TODAY® Original Puff Pastry
  • 1 tbsp (45 ml) sundried tomato pesto
  • 100 g grated cheddar cheese
  • 50 g grated mozzarella
  • 2 tsp (10 ml) Hinds Spices Paprika
  • 1 Egg, beaten

Instructions

  • Unroll the TODAY® Original puff pastry and use the back of a spoon to spread the tomato pesto over the right-hand side of the pastry.
  • Sprinkle over the grated cheese and paprika. Brush the egg on the other half of the pastry and fold it over onto the filled side.
  • Cut the pastry in half lengthways and cut 7 even strips, making 14 cheese straws. Twist and place onto a baking tray.
  • Brush with egg and bake them in the air fryer in two batches at 180°C for 10 minutes.
  • Serve and enjoy.
