How to cover a chicken pie with TODAY® Original Puff Pastry

Ingredients

  • 1 400 g roll TODAY® Original Puff Pastry
  • 1 Egg, beaten
  • 1 Cake flour for dusting

Instructions

  • Fill a rectangular pie dish with a filling of your choice and brush the edges of the dish with egg.
  • Unroll the TODAY® Original Puff Pastry and roll it over the filling. Cutting off any excess pastry and keeping it aside.
  • Seal the edges with a kitchen fork.
  • Cut a cross into the middle of the pie, to let out steam while cooking.
  • Using the remaining pastry cut out leaves and decorate the pie. Brush all the pastry with the remaining egg.
  • Bake at 180°C for 35-45 minutes, until the pastry is golden brown, puffed and cooked through.
