Festive Wreath

Ingredients

  • 1 400g TODAY® Original puff pastry, ready rolled
  • 75g Rhodes Quality Tomato Paste
  • 100g mature cheddar cheese, grated
  • 100g white cheddar cheese, grated
  • 150g feta, crumbled
  • 1 tbsp (15ml) chopped rosemary
  • 1 tsp (5ml) paprika
  • Salt for seasoning
  • Hinds Spices Pure Black Pepper for seasoning
  • 1 Egg, beaten
  • Fresh sprigs of rosemary for garnish

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 190°C
  • Line a large baking sheet with baking paper.
  • Unroll the TODAY® Original puff pastry, onto the lined tray, spread with tomato paste.
  • Mix together the cheeses, rosemary and paprika and season with salt and pepper.
  • Sprinkle the cheese mixture over the tomato paste, leaving one of the lengthways edges uncovered.
  • Roll up the pastry tightly, to create a spiral and seal the rolled edge. Shape the spiral into a circle and use a sharp knife to score the pastry around the edges.
  • Brush with beaten egg and bake for 30 minutes, or until golden, puffed and cooked through.
  • Remove from the oven, garnish with fresh sprigs of rosemary to create a wreath look and decorate with a festive bow.
