Frankfurter Sausage Rolls

Ingredients

  • 1 400g TODAY® Original puff pastry, ready rolled
  • 1 Egg, beaten
  • 4 Frankfurter sausages

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 190°C.
  • Line a baking tray with baking paper.
  • Roll out the TODAY® Original puff pastry and cut into 4, width ways.
  • Brush the pastry with beaten egg and place the sausages into the middle of each pastry strip.
  • Wrap the pastry around the sausage and use a fork to press down the edges.
  • Brush with the remaining egg and cut each sausage into 4.
  • Bake at 190°C for 20 minutes, the pastry should be golden and crisp.
  • Serve hot and enjoy.
