Ingredients

  • 1 400g TODAY® Original shortcrust pastry, ready rolled
  • 1 large egg white
  • 250g icing sugar, sifted
  • ½ tsp (2.5ml) water

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 180°C.
  • Line 2 x baking trays with baking paper.
  • Roll out the TODAY® Original shortcrust pastry and lightly dust with flour.
  • Cut out festive shaped biscuits from the pastry and place onto the baking tray.
  • Bake for 8 minutes, until golden brown and cooked through.
  • Remove from the oven and set aside to cool.
  • Mix together the egg white, icing sugar and water, whisk until smooth and glossy.
  • Place the glaze into a piping bag and decorate the cooled biscuits as desired.
