How to make a Cornish pasty using TODAY® Original Shortcrust Pastry

Ingredients

  • 1 400g Roll TODAY® Original Puff Pastry
  • Savoury mince filling
  • 1 Egg, beaten

Instructions

  • Unroll the TODAY® Original Shortcrust Pastry and using a standard-size saucer or small side plate, cut out three rounds.
  • Place ½ a cup of filling into the center of each pastry round.
  • Brush the edges with beaten egg.
  • Fold the two edges together and use your fingers and both hands to seal the edges and crimp at the same time.
  • Once sealed, neatly shape the pie.
  • Brush the pies with the remaining egg and bake on a tray lined with baking paper at 180°C for 20 minutes.
